Annamariah Knox (b. New York City, NY), is a multidisciplinary artist primarily working with textiles, soft sculpture, and movement. Annamariah received a BA in Art History and Theater from Bowdoin College. She is currently a Masters in Fine Arts candidate in Sculpture at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Annamariah has attended residencies at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN, and has shown her work in Ithaca, NY, and New York, NY. As an educator, Annamariah has taught art at The Chapin School and at the Lower East Side Girls' Club in New York City, and she also worked at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, MN. Annamariah has extensive experience in improvisation and performance, through physical theater, dance, and clowning.
